Our Mission
Our mission is to unanimously undertake diligent and conscious acts of youth education and evangelism that will enhance improved knowledge, good morals and upright spiritually
St Paul's Catholic Secondary School Kyado, was birthed in the year 2006 (2006/2007 Academic Session) and was named after the host Parish's Patron Saint, St Paul the Apostle. This happened to be the brain child of the the Parish Priest, Revd Fr Isaiah A. Utsua who served as the very first Local Proprietor to this noble school.
The establishment of this School answered the quest for a Catholic Secondary School as it were, within the Parish and Kyado town, as the Parishioners and the inhabitants of Kyado ever desired. St Paul's Catholic Secondary School Kyado became the first ever Catholic Secondary School established within Mbaterem District of Ukum Local Government Area, Benue State.
The School took off with one hundred and fifty (150) Students for the first Class (JSS 1 only) as a mixed gender school; it has Day and Boarding facilities.
Our vision is to produce spirited and knowledgeable youth that will influence positively the progress, standard and will being of families, Sankera and the society at large
We uphold and teach the Catholic Doctrine and practices without any reservation
We operate curricular and extra-curricular activities that will improve the students academically, morally, socially and spiritually to better and equip them for the future.
The School is sited permanently along Kyado to Tse-Mom through to Akpuuna road. It shares boundaries with St. Francis Catholic Nursery and Primary School from the North-East, from the North-West with the Parish premises and the South, with some local settlers.
